A new release from Hot Ones. #8 was first introduced in Season 30. We’re not at Last Dab level, but we’re just below it. This is the point in the Hot Ones lineup where the conversation starts to change.

This sauce is built on Carolina Reaper, Scorpion and yellow super-hot chiles from Smokin’ Ed Currie. The flavor starts with vinegar, lime and a little hint of brown sugar - but very quickly the chili takes over. First comes the sharp hit. Then comes the next wave. And it stays with you.

Taste and heat

Flavor-wise, Hot Ones #8 is direct: plenty of chili, fresh lime, vinegar and a light sweetness from brown sugar. It’s not fruity, not garlic-heavy and not masked by smoke. It’s a clean, sharp and uncompromising chili bomb.

Use it for

Use a few drops on chicken wings, pizza, tacos, ramen, chili con carne, burgers or marinades. You can also stir it into BBQ sauce, mayo or dip if you want heat without blowing up the whole dish. Start carefully - this sauce is not made for beginners.
